Direct Replacement Unit™ (DRU)
The DRU is a low profile exact replacement A/C unit for buildings that are currently equipped with outdated cooling or heating equipment. United Metal Products specifically designs the Direct Replacement Unit to match all pre-existing equipment penetrations so that no new curbs are needed. The DRU is also designed to closely match the operating weights of your current equipment, which means in most cases that no structural modifications are needed. The custom fit design of the Direct Replacement Units makes them perfect for customers who have multiple site replacement needs.
Cel-Air®
Cel-Air units are the premier line of environmentally friendly, energy efficient evaporative cooling equipment offered by United Metal Products. These high capacity units come in over 120 cataloged formations and range in size from 5,000 CFM to over 100,000 CFM. Cel-Air units are extremely heavy duty and are an excellent choice for all static pressure applications. This equipment is perfect for engineers, contractors and building owners who need a completely customizable green cooling solution.
Custom-Air®
The Custom-Air line was developed by United Metal Products to meet the ever-increasing demand for custom air handling units. These heavy-duty welded frame units are available from 1,000 to over 200,000 CFM. As the name suggests they are completely customizable and can be fitted with a full range of options including chilled water and DX to steam or gas heating. Energy Recovery Unit™ (ERU)
The ERU is an innovative and technologically advanced design specifically created for applications that require a high outside air capacity. The ERU is ideally suited for places with high dry bulb and relatively low wet bulb temperatures such as the Western United States and the Middle East. For applications in colder climates that require heating recovery the ERU can be customized with a “run around coil system.”
Fan-Air®
Fan-Air evaporative coolers are the lowest profile and most energy efficient evaporative coolers on the market today. Fan-Air units are designed with an innovative and energy efficient five-blade axial fan for low static applications and can be equipped with a forward curve fan for slightly higher static applications. As a result of the cutting edge design, Fan-Air evaporative coolers can deliver up to 30,000 CFM while providing as much as a 60% savings over other evaporative units.

Modular Air Handling Unit® (MAHU)
The MAHU line of fan coil units is a high quality, high performance, cost effective small air-handling unit. The MAHU is a highly customizable unit that brings modular specific components together in a unique operating system. The MAHU is made out of extremely high quality components that are typically reserved for commercial air handlers. For instance, the MAHU comes with a fan and a cabinet that can produce high profile static pressures in the low profile format of a traditional fan coil unit.
The MAHU has been designed for applications that demand the high quality components of an air handling unit along with a fan and cabinet that can produce high static pressures in the low profile format of a traditional fan coil unit. The technologically innovative design of the MAHU allows for a very low maintenance product that is perfectly suited for Mixed Air, 100% RA, 100% OSA, economizer applications, while meeting the most stringent engineering specifications.
Vertical Air Handling Unit® (VAHU)
The VAHU line of heating and cooling systems is a high quality, high performance, cost effective small air-handling unit designed specifically for tight applications. The VAHU is a perfect cooling solution for areas where the footprint of a traditional air handling unit is not a viable option.
The VAHU is made out of extremely high quality components that are typically reserved for larger custom air handling units. For instance, the VAHU comes with a fan and a cabinet that can produce high profile static pressures without occupying the larger footprint area of a traditional fan coil unit. The space saving engineering design of the VAHU makes it an excellent choice for classrooms, pharmaceutical laboratories, and other areas where space is at a premium. The integrative streamlined design also makes it suitable for Mixed Air, 100% R.A., 100% OSA applications.

Indirect Direct Unit™ (IDU)
The IDU is United Metal Products ultra efficient indirect-direct cooling system. The IDU provides an energy efficient solution for facilities that need effective cooling, but find A/C to be too energy inefficient and cost prohibitive. One of the main advantages of the IDU is that it can provide a very low discharge air temperature without the use of compressurized equipment. Indirect-direct cooling is also a more effective system than standard evaporative units in that it can lower the supply air temperature by as much as 10°F. For these reasons and more the IDU is an excellent option for industrial/commercial applications that require anywhere from 1,000 CFM up to 120,000 CFM.
