Design Assist™ Program

United Metal Products Design Assist Program provides the highest level of customer service possible by bringing together on one design team the interdependent skill sets of a proven manufacturer along with an experienced engineering sales force. This synergistic working relationship enables United Metal Products to provide effective solutions to the most difficult design and application challenges.

Step 1: Define Needs and Give Direction

The first step in the Design Assist Program is for United Metal Products experienced design team to listen to the details of the client’s project and help them define the parameters, equipment requirements, and next steps.

Step 2: Decide, Analyze, and Budget

After defining the client’s needs the next step is to help the customer decide on the best design solution and specific equipment for their cooling, heating, and/or energy recovery needs. This will be done by analyzing in a detailed format, the budget and operating costs of the project through the System Energy Analysis™ Program (S.E.A. Program) which is based on DOE-2model.

Step 3: Manufacture

Once the most strategic design solution has been decided upon the next step is the manufacturing stage. This phase of the project provides a detailed submittal, manufacturing path, and inspection process, providing a clear plan of how and what United Metal Products builds and how these systems can be applied/customized for the client’s specific design.

Step 4: Deliver

The fourth step in the Design Assist Program involves United Metal Products coordinating for final delivery in order to ensure that the project is completed on time.
