United Metal Products® provides a national account program for large multiple site owners who qualify by meeting specific requirements. One of the benefits of the national account program is that the client gets to work with the same team of designers and application engineers on each of their projects. This provides the end user with a level of familiarity and improved business continuity in that they are working directly with UMP and not through different geographic specific manufacturers representatives.

The National Account Program provides an easy-button for hyperscale clients to help address their infrastructure cooling needs across all of the organization’s facilities. The National Account program also creates an incubator for innovation where the client and the UMP design team can work to continuously improve system designs as technology develops.

National Account Program - 5 Step Process

STEP 1 | DEFINE NEEDS
The first step is for the client to express their interest in being considered for the National Accounts Program. United Metal Products will then help the client determine if there is a match between what UMP can offer and what the client desires.
STEP 2 | ASSESSMENT
If there is a match between the needs of the client and the services of the National Account Program, the client will enter into an assessment stage with the UMP team. During this step a specific needs analysis will be done to determine the specific requests of the client and how United Metal Products can serve them.
STEP 3 | PROPOSAL AND LONG TERM AGREEMENT
Once it has been determined that there are specific ways in which United Metal Products can serve the client an official proposal is presented. This proposal outlines the terms between the client and United Metal Products and helps establish the parameters of the long term relationship.
STEP 4 | PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORT
The fourth step in the National Account Process is United Metal Products commitment to the client to continuously be developing application specific products. This consistent development gives the client the advantage of having the most efficient systems applied to the unique needs of their facilities.
STEP 5 | KAIZEN - CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Once the project is on site and running there is also a continuous improvement loop that is set up between the client and the UMP design team. One aspect of the continuous improvement loop is systematically reviewing previous projects with the client, compiling a lessons learned list, and implementing these into the next iteration of the solution deployed.
