Evaporative cooler systems created by United Metal Products in the Fan-Air line are the lowest profile and most energy efficient evaporative cooling units on the market today. A Fan-Air evaporative cooler is capable of delivering a large volume of cool air with up to 60% less operational cost.
Often called a swamp cooler, the evaporative cooler has long been recognized as an effective and inexpensive method of cooling commercial, industrial, and agricultural buildings, especially at the low dew point temperatures. As air is pulled through the wetted CELdek or GLASdek media, the evaporation of water lowers the temperature of the incoming air by as much as 35 degrees, thereby providing cool, washed air.
The Fan-Air evaporative cooler components include a six-bladed axial fan rather than the typical blower wheel or "squirrel cage" assembly. Delivering up to 24,500 CFM of conditioned air, the Fan-Air evaporative cooler is the perfect cooler for all low static applications with short duct drops into large open spaces. |
