Heating and air conditioning multi story buildings has always been a challenge. Space is at a premium. Until recently, the only cooling solution was an off-the-shelf, high-noise fan coil unit. These units are typically very loud and manufactured with only cost in mind.
United Metal Products' Modular Fan Coil provides heating and air conditioning to the industrial HVAC applications by using a smaller version of the larger custom air handler unit on the roof. The MFC modular fan coil unit offers high quality, cost effective cooling in a high performance air handler configuration with a series of standard features typically found on a larger industrial HVAC or a custom air cooling system.
The MFC modular fan coil unit has been designed for those applications where the high quality components of an air handling unit are required along with a fan and cabinet that can produce high static pressures in the low-profile format of a traditional fan coil unit and low noise. The modular fan coil construction, double wall cabinet, HVAC filter, component options, speed control and vibration isolation all contribute to make the United Metal Products' MFC modular fan coil unit suitable for most heating and air conditioning applications.
Applications of the MFC include:
• Hospitals
• Museums
• Pharmaceutical Laboratories
• High tech manufacturing
• Clean rooms
• Schools & Colleges
• Commercial
• Institutional
• Other acoustically or IAQ sensitive applications
United Metal Products' modular fan coil unit has the following benefits and features:
• Very quiet operation thanks to the direct drive plug fan, even in higher static
pressure applications.
• Low profile design.
• Zero maintenance direct drive fans with no belts or bearings, and motors with
permanently lubricated sealed bearings.
• #304 SS double sloped drain pans.
• High efficiency filtration for maximum indoor air quality.
• No need for external isolators, thanks to the internal isolation under the fan and
motor.
• Suitable for Mixed Air, 100% RA, 100% OSA, or economizer applications. |
