CEO Steve Kinkel’s article on Indirect-Direct Evaporative Cooling featured in the ACHR News

Tuesday, July 28th, 2009

Steve Kinkel, CEO of United Metal Products, recently published an article on the benefits of Indirect-Direct Evaporative Cooling in the Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration (ACHR) NEWS publication.

One of the most practical ways to increase a company’s bottom line and practice sustainability is in the area of cooling. Many companies assume their only option with regards to providing cooling is standard packaged air conditioning. However, indirect-direct evaporative cooling is a method of cooling that can be not only more cost effective, but also more sustainable. Such a method can help companies move towards being climate neutral. At the same time, contractors who offer such a system can have a business edge over competitors.

Cel-Air®: Twenty Years Ago (Video)

Monday, March 9th, 2009

Meeting the challenge of a flexible solution based design that would accommodate large space cooling and heating brought on the development of the Cel-Air® evaporative cooling system. Whatever your specific needs our CAD designed system can develop solutions and generate changes on the plant floor in hours, instead of months or years. Once a unit has been meticulously configured by our high definition cutting system the parts are cleaned, powder coated, painted, and cured at 400 degrees Fahrenheit to a hard enamel finish. The components are then assembled, inspected, and tested. The entire process guided by a team philosophy of “do it right the first time.” We work to ensure that the quality and integrity of our equipment is second to none.

“As you can see from the following twenty year old video, we have a long history of  prioritizing the manufacturing and designing of  innovative and high quality evaporative cooling equipment.  In fact, we have been helping business save money for over thirty years by developing energy saving evaporative cooling equipment.”—Steve Kinkel, CEO of United Metal Products

Evaporative Cooling History & United Metal Products (Video)

Monday, March 2nd, 2009

The history of today’s modern evaporative cooling parallels the history of one family. International Metal Products was born and over forty years later grandson Steve Kinkel founded United Metal Products. YouTube Preview Image
